City Anticipates Rising Sea Water Surface Impact

Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan said tidal flood due to tidal wave which reaches several areas in North Jakarta has been handled. Nevertheless, his side will be aware for extreme weather condition for two days ahead.

We are ready for 24 hours while hoping there will be no disaster

"Yesterday, it was been handled at 4 PM. But we will be aware up to two days ahead," he affirmed, Wednesday (6/12).

He predicted, sea water level will continue to arise until two days ahead. After that, it will gradually decreased again.

Therefore, his side will follow up the situation and make sure all pumps are in ready condition.

"It is showing on alert level 3 in these two days. So we are ready for 24 hours while hoping there will be no disaster," he informed.
